Wonderfully Made

Wonderfully Made is about accepting ourselves, flaws and all. It reminds us that God’s love and grace is freely given without stipulations or conditions. It also reminds us that God loves us as we are, an imperfect humanity. It is set to an American hymn tune from the The Kentucky Harmony, MORNING SONG.

I am beloved by my God and I am wonderf’ly made!
No depths, no heights can separate me from my makers grace.

My God’s love know no earthly bounds. From it I can’t escape.
God know each hair upon my head. God molded me to shape.

When one sheep of the ninety-nine wander’d far from the fold,
the caring shepherd sought them out and brought them safely home.

And when the widow lost her coin, she search’d both high and low.
She did not rest, she did not stop, she did not let it go.

Just as the shepherd did not stop, the widow did not rest;
God call to us and seeks us out. God’s love is endless.

If you should ever doubt your worth, remember what God said:
“You are beloved by your God and you are wonderf”ly made!”
